OLTON WWCC JUNIOR CRICKET
Olton WWCC, based at the wonderful facilities of the West Warwickshire Sports Complex has been one of the leading providers of junior cricket in Warwickshire for over 30 years. In that time they have developed a number of 1st class cricketers including Henry Brookes, Ethan Brookes, Jonathon Webb & Manraj Johal. In this time 100+ children have been selected to represent county age group teams. However, it is the many thousands of children who have taken up cricket over the years that the club is most proud of, many of whom are still playing today in one of the clubs senior teams. Olton WWCC is the perfect place to play cricket no matter the ambition, and we pride ourselves on giving all players the most positive experience possible.
Since 2022, junior cricket at Olton & WWCC has been led by Marc Webb & Solihull Cricket Academy. We work hard to offer the very best, most professionally organised coaching sessions led by experienced, ECB qualified coaches who aim to both improve the technical and tactical skills of the players as well as ensuring a fun and safe environment.
In addition, we enter a number of teams into the local Warwickshire Junior Leagues that play throughout the Summer.
SOFTBALL CRICKET
Softball cricket at Olton WWCC is perfect for both new and experienced players alike. The sessions allow for an even greater emphasis on having fun and learning the game through inspiring sessions that develop all the important skills within game style activities and sessions. Boys and Girls will hit, bowl and field many balls throughout the programme and we hope this practice will help them to improve these skills more quickly.
We run the following softball programmes;
Little Batters aimed at Girls and Boys aged 4-7 years old (Nursery – Year 2) on Friday evenings during the Summer & Saturday mornings during the Winter – FIND OUT MORE

HARDBALL CRICKET
Our Hardball Programmes are aimed at players of all experience from Year 3 upwards. In 2025 Olton WWCC will be entering 10 junior teams into the Warwickshire Junior Leagues.

We run an additional 8 week hardball coaching programme during the Summer holidays with all age groups coming together on a Friday evening from 6.30pm-8.00pm. This programme is booked separately.
